Amazing game. First time I ever bought on the App Store and its very amazing first purchase.

Ive never seen this game featured and its a shame. This is an amazing mobile game. It features compelling fleet management both tactically and strategically. The overall game has a rogue like feel. The mechanics are simple and easy to execute on a touchscreen. The strategic layer offers real choice in building, equipping and upgrading your small fleet. Tactical combat also offers real challenge as you maneuver for advantages and make critical targeting choices. Highly recommend.

After spending a lot of time feeling this game out, Ive decided to take the time to write this review. I was sent to this game by a recommendation on a Reddit thread. I was put off at first by the relatively steep price and the moderate learning curve with poor instructions, but after an hour I really started to enjoy this game, and countless hours later I have really come to love it. The gameplay is addictive, the combat is fantastic, and it feels very polished and smooth. Not once has the game stuttered or crashed. Occasionally frustrating but does not feel unfair, and very rewarding. Something I really like is how easy the game is to stop at the drop of a hat and to jump back into hours later without loosing any progress whatsoever. The only thing I would ask for is more depth/things to do, but this could be attributed to my running out of things to do because of my 10+ playthroughs. If they dropped an expansion I would buy it immediately.

You dont micromanage your crew but you have to manage your ship load outs and there is a great deal of strategy when it comes to combat. Starts out simple but gets intense later. Well worth the two bucks I paid. No micro transactions! Hard to find in mobile games.

This is my go to app for 2-3 hour plane rides. The gameplay is simple but there is enough leveling up and strategy to keep you invested. Just about the time I reach the final boss and am subsequently blown to pieces it is time to land and I swear off the game for another week.

The reasent update that came out is amazing in everyway possable but there is a bug I found if a station is under attack and you give it the cargo for a cargo quest the station does not give rewards

Once upon a time Bug Byte wrote this great little space combat game and rushed it to market. Sure it had bugs you could exploit but they quickly fixed those and it was a great game so that was okay. Then Bug Byte said "If we had a little more cash we could make this an even better game. Lets do some crowd funding and see if we can get those funds we need." And so the did. But instead of just adding to the game to make it better they said "We need to Nerf all the low cost weapons that the players can use cause they are getting too much bang for their buck due to rate of fire increases they can buy on energy and projectile weapons and we dont want them to be able to win this game anymore". Just ruined my day Bug Byte. Really want my money back for this turkey youve produced. That includes the money I put into the crowdfunding.

Why would u nerf the only 2 best weapons in the game this was just fine as is now its nearly impossible to beat even on easy difficulty. I have lost the will to play this game and i would spend my money elsewhere with this game in its current state :I

Hard as hell, plenty of depth and lots of options. Great style for a starship fighting sim.

The game is much improved. Everything about the game is great. Thank you for this game. The only thing That I think the game is lacking is an endless mode. If they add endless 10/10 but for now only 5/5 ;) I look forward to even more improvements in the future.

Great Game, feels similar to FTL, but somewhere lower stakes, which is a good thing:) Last update made the game feel much more like a finished product. Thank you to the developer for continuing support! Brings me back to Star Control days of my childhood.

Such an underrated game, its so fun and no IAPs. Give it a chance and support these great devs.

Best Game I have played on the IPhone Super addictive The new changes are great

This game makes me quite happy. Well, by the time I have a perfected build. But the pursuit of this perfect build is what makes this game shine. You start off with a basic ship and enough resources to begin your journey. Through progressing in the storyline and completing missions, you earn experience to level up, earning a new and often better ship each time. Like with FTL, ship stats only mean as much as the firepower harnessed within. The game doesnt spoil you with superior firepower off the bat. You can only purchase basic human weapons at your own ship or purchase random (often junk) weapons at friendly space stations and ships scattered about. Upgrading your weapons can often mean the difference between uneasy victory and complete loss. You can purchase two other ships to form a small fleet. These ships can be lost in battle without ending the game, but these losses are often so great that you may as well restart. All in all, there is plenty here to frustrate you until you learn the mechanics of the game and begin your impossible quest to build the perfect fleet.

I love this game. I have not been able to put it down. Finally beat it on easy. It wasnt easy at all, but well worth the effort. As you progress you unlock more ships and find better weapons and defenses. Its simplified enough to jump into, and deep enough to keep hardcore strategists engaged. A real winner!

Horrible game play. Little to no strategy. Forced to enter battle in conditions that are unfavorable to player. AI just runs from you. No saving game. All ships move at almost a crawl. Slow and makes player feel helpless when ships dont follow orders.

This game is amazing, just you have to try it if you love spaceship rts games

Finally an awesome pay once and done game! So fun, play over and over again! Well worth the price! And I love being able to buy a game and play without all the in app purchase requirements. Wish more developers would create app games where you pay once and done. Definitely buy from the developer so they will keep making great pay and play games like this.

This game is fantastic. Ive been looking for something like this for a while now. Top-down, strategic, in depth, but not too hard to pick up.

Its actually pretty good, if you think 80s coin video arcade game design concept (Or maybe pinball). Same thing. LOL I had to switch gaming gears (Didnt know I had one, ...ha)! I was missing a lot of the games subtleties. And whats not subtle is what happens to me if I stumble across the enemy with the wrong load-out! Not pretty, but its actually pretty painless as its swift! Now I start with this one and chill-out with StarHammer VP. :-)
